Principal
Sarah Chibani, Esq.
A Florida native, Sarah was born in South Florida, but soon relocated to Tampa Bay where she was raised. A proud alumnus of St. Mary’s Episcopal Day School and H.B. Plant High and a natural born over-achiever, Sarah enjoyed and thrived in academic settings. Her hard work brought her first to Boston University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and minored in Political Science. From there, her passion for higher learning and civic-mindedness led her back to Florida, where she earned her Juris Doctor at University of Miami School of Law.
After becoming a member of the Florida Bar, Sarah became an associate at one of Florida’s largest defense firms. Almost immediately, she took over an intense case load, working her cases from inception through all major stages of the litigation process. Sarah gained invaluable hands-on experience conducting depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, among engaging in all other aspects of client and case management. Her continued experience with another large firm expanded her practice across the state of Florida and its federal courts.
Working at these large firms made Sarah the litigator she is today, gaining invaluable experience on a fast-track that does not exist for the majority of attorneys. The exposure to big law also provided Sarah insight into many of their inefficient, bureaucratic, and costly practices. Thus, Chibani Law PLLC was inspired on the premise that a modern law firm can integrate creative, technological, and innovative approaches to not just lower costs but provide better service. Without having to feed into the large corporate structures of the big firms, Chibani Law PLLC is focused on providing highly personalized service while cutting out the unnecessary waste, oversight, and overhead the larger firms can’t afford to lose but that clients can’t afford to pay. At Chibani Law PLLC its about doing what’s best for our clients, not the bottom line.
